Provides direct patient care for a specified population. Partners with colleagues to achieve excellence in the delivery of patient care to designated population groups. The clinician promotes nursing professional practice through education, role modeling and clinical expertise. The clinician leads the planning, development and implementation of best practices and standard of care through the development of programs, policies, guidelines focused on continual quality improvement. If the bachelor's degree is not in nursing, then a master's degree in nursing is required.Experience: 2 years of nursing experience.License/Certification/Registration: Current MN RN License.Preferred:Education: Advanced Degree in nursing or related field.Experience: 3 or more years of nursing experience.License/Certification/Registration: Certification in Specialty Area.These qualifications outline the educational, experiential, and licensure requirements necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the RN role in the Gamma Knife specialty.
