Job Description:

• Certification Details
• Graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or registry eligible with certification obtained before start date of employment.
• Licensure/Certification Required: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T.(R) (ARRT)
• ARRT registration in Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) within 18 months of start date
• Current Basic Life Support certification.

  • Position Overview: Major Functions and Non-Essential Functions: Provides service to adolescents and adults.
  • Produces high quality images for Radiology and the assigned areas within the Operating room that meet the standards established by the Department of Radiology.
  • Requires competence in a variety of equipment and technology.
  • Practices safety guidelines for patients, support personnel, and themselves.
  • Fosters teamwork through effective communication.
  • Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths.
  • Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.
    • Job Requirements
    • Experience within a sterile environment, aseptic technique, and scrub experience required.
    • Minimum of one year IR experience required.
