About the Job:
80% Perform molecular biological techniques including cardiomyocyte
isolation, FACS, immunohistochemistry, qPCR, plasmid constructs,
minipreps and maxipreps, cell culture, EB differentiation assays
and quantification of proliferation assays
20% - Attend and participate in weekly laboratory meetings.
- Meeting with Principal Investigators to discuss progress and to
develop work-plans. Interact with laboratory personnel through oral
and written communication to provide customized services, technical
assistance, training, and troubleshooting;
Qualifications
All required qualifications must be documented on application
materialsRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in biology or molecular biology or a related
field of science plus at least one year of experience, or a
combination of related education and work experience to equal to
five years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using morphological and molecular biological
techniques
- Experience with mouse husbandry skills
- Proven ability to meticulously and accurately record experiments
in lab notebooks.
